Volunteer Opportunities

Share your time and talent as a land monitor, or help with administrative work, special projects, or educational activities.

Highland Farm Volunteer Work Days

Friday, July 30- Invasive Plant Removal
Volunteers are needed to help remove invasive plants from New England cottontail habitat at Highland Farm between 9a.m. and 3p.m.. Choose to work one shift or two. For more information, please email the volunteer coordinator or call the office (207) 363-7400 to find out how you can help.

Monitoring Walks
Join us as we monitor York Land Trust properties. The walks generally require 2 to 3 hours and are scheduled monthly on a Wednesday or a Saturday. We meet at our office at 9a.m. Please contact David Mallard for more information.

Administrative Work
Volunteers to do database entry, collate mailings, file and conduct other administrative projects are always needed.

Special Projects
Do you have a special talent such as photography, carpentry, graphic design? The York Land Trust may have a special project for which we could use your help.

Trail Building & Maintenance
Do you enjoy clearing trails or building walkways and boardwalks? Put on your work clothes and come and join us for trail building on our properties.
