In partnership with White Pine Programs, we offer a monthly bird walk on the third Wednesday of each month! Join us for a special walk through scenic Smelt Brook Preserve to learn how to ID birds, recognize birdsong, and explore the habitats birds love most. Family friendly and beginner birders welcome! This is a special Bird Walk Wednesday that is celebrating York River Month.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
Hike Difficulty Easy to moderate. Most of the trails at Smelt Brook Preserve are flat, but there are a handful of inclines. Learn more at Highland Farm Preserve.
