40th Anniversary Campaign: From 40 to Forever
YLT’s 40th Anniversary Capital Campaign
From 40 to Forever is a $10 million campaign to protect more than 700 acres, strengthen our stewardship work, and ensure York Land Trust’s conservation legacy continues for generations.
The campaign will invest in three priorities:
Land Acquisition — $7 Million(opens in new tab)
Protect 713 acres across 12 projects, including more than $5.5 million in donated land value, while growing the Doreen MacGillis Land Protection Fund to help YLT seize future conservation opportunities.
Land Management — $1 Million(opens in new tab)
Invest in the people, tools, and infrastructure needed to care for the lands we protect, including a universal access trail at Highland Farm, stewardship barn, vehicle and trailer, solar panels, and bolstering our Land Management Fund.
Endowment & Reserves — $2 Million(opens in new tab)
Strengthen YLT’s long-term financial foundation through scaling up our Stewardship Endowment, Sustainability Endowment, and Office Headquarters Fund.
Our first 40 years have shown what is possible when a community comes together to protect the places we love. Our 40th Anniversary Campaign builds on that legacy and positions York Land Trust to meet the conservation challenges and opportunities of the next 40 years.
