Purchase a Tribute Bench
Tribute benches are a thoughtful way to honor someone special in your life as a dedication or memorial. At the same time, these benches provide preserve visitors with a place to rest and reflect and make our preserves more accessible to more people.
Tribute benches are made out of quality cedar with an ergonomic back and armrests. A plaque with wording of your choice will be placed on the top center of the bench.
Your $2,500 donation will cover the cost of the cedar bench, placement, installation, and plaque dedication with YLT-approved wording. The bench will be installed at your choice of the options detailed below. The bench remains the property of YLT, and YLT is not responsible for replacement should the bench become damaged. We anticipate the lifespan of these quality cedar benches to be about ten years.
Please follow this link to make a gift of $2,500 to purchase a tribute bench. Please note in the “Special Instructions” section of the form that the donation is for a tribute bench. A York Land Trust staff member will be in touch with you shortly to work out details regarding the bench’s plaque and placement.
