Invasive Plant Species Workday – New Date!

**New Date May 24th**

Join York Land Trust and the York Conservation Commission at Highland Farm Preserve and learn to confidently identify and remove two notoriously aggressive invasive plant species: Japanese Knotweed and Japanese Pachysandra. These two plant species are opportunists who can be seen everywhere from roadsides and backyards to forests and fields. How did they get here and why do they need to be removed? Join us and learn more during this active, hands-on event!

Participants should come prepared wearing work gloves, closed toes shoes, long sleeves and pants and shoes suitable for hiking.  Bring water and layers as needed.   Tools and materials will be provided.

This workday is open to the public but registration is required.  Register here.
