Join our Stewardship Director, Liz Walworth, for a basic training on trail stewardship skills on one of YLT’s Limited Access Preserves. This hands-on training is welcome to people of all skill levels who are interested in caring for local trails.
Training Topics Will Include:
- Blazing
- Corridor Work and Storm Recovery
- Leave No Trace Basics
- Reporting Issues
- Kiosks, Parking Area, Signage
Please come with work gloves, hiking shoes, long sleeved shirt and pants, water, snacks, and anything else you might need to spend the day outdoors! Tools will be provided.
Participants will meet at YLT’s Headquarters Parking Area and then be transported to the site by van due to limited parking at the property. Free program and open to the public, however, registration is required. Sign up here.
