Science students at York Middle School discover Fuller Forest’s vernal pools

This past spring, more than 100 eighth graders from York Middle School explored the vernal pools at York Land Trust’s Fuller Forest Preserve to conduct field research as part of their science class. Three students published articles in Findings from the Field, a middle school journal of ecological and environmental scientific investigations produced by the Gulf of Maine Research Institute.
